Consoles Vacant - Organists Required

This is a list of churches who were looking for an organist and choirmaster in 1997 & 1998

St Columb's Cathedral Londonderry
St Columb's Cathedral is looking to appoint an Assistant Organist to work with the Organist and master of Choristers, Tim Allen. Full details of duties and salary are available from him but if anyone out there knows of anyone who would be suitable please let us know. The post requires a player of Grade 8 plus standard and primarily involves the accompaniment of the Cathedral choir of men and boys which is one of the busiest choirs in the country. Music in the cathedral is enjoying a growing profile, not only because of the choir but through events such as the Two Cathedrals Festival. Opportunity will be given to train the choir regularly. The cathedral will consider a pre-University student for an Organ-Scholarship-type position for the year or for a shorter period. Please draw this to the attention of anyone who may be interested. Tim Allen is contactable at t.allen@lineone.net
