Our largest project to date and essentially a new instrument, retaining only the casework and five ranks from the previous Evans & Barr organ. Enlarged from 15 to 45 stops with a new terraced console of 60 drawstops.

A delightful 1863 Bevington restored on historic principles, with the mechanical action and en fenêtre console recreated after being discarded when the organ was electrified.

All Saints' Church, Loughguile, Co. Antrim

Loughguile, Co. Antrim

An 1870 Cramer, Wood & Co. organ that narrowly escaped destruction by fire in Aghalee, stored for twelve years, then fully restored — including 21 new metal front pipes — and installed at Loughguile.

Preservation1994–2005

Christ Church, College Square North, Belfast

Belfast, Co. Antrim

The first organ we saved: dismantled from a closed church in 1994–95, held in store, and rehoused in the Great Hall at Queen's University Belfast. The Pipe Organ Preservation Co. carried out the rescue, storage and rehousing; the final restoration to the original 1857 specification was completed by William Drake in 2005.

The Great department redesigned with a new slider soundboard and Victorian Magahy casework replacing a 1960s functional display, raising the department from 598 to 815 pipes.

A chamber organ of nearly two hundred years restored on conservation principles: the altered compass reversed, cut-down GGG and AAA pipes restored, and the case regilded in new gold leaf.

A six-stop 1937 Evans & Barr 'ideal' organ restored without alteration — tubular-pneumatic action throughout — for less than the electronic replacement the church had been considering.

A quality Evans & Barr case modified and extended to suit the church, replacing the temporary case installed in 2007, together with other refinements to the organ itself.

A modern case designed, built and installed to relate to its surroundings on the west shelf of a 1966 church, screening new heating plant where an organ had originally stood.

A 1953 J W Walker extension organ from a closed Londonderry church, enlarged with Compton parts from the previous instrument, rewired with a new solid-state transmission and a restored console.

A typical Victorian village church organ of 1869 by Cramer, Wood & Co., built for Dunluce Parish in Bushmills, overhauled and rehoused in a church that had only ever had reed organs.

An organ built by Telford for a convent in Navan, enlarged to two manuals by Kenneth Jones for Delvin in 1980, refurbished and installed in the school's assembly hall.

A five-stop chamber organ largely of the 1871 Walker rebuild but containing earlier parts, acquired from a church in Wales, restored and installed after temporary service in two other churches.

A mid-19th-century chamber organ from Portreath Methodist Church in Cornwall, restored and installed in a church that had never had an organ, fitting a west gallery with under ten feet of height.
